In a press release last Tuesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders announced plans for a new branch of the military.

“Our first priority is the safety of the American people, as well as that of the international community. Because of this, we have found it necessary to implement a new branch of the military: the G-Force.

This announcement comes only months after the announcement of the Space Force, and the two are expected to work closely together.

President Trump tweeted about his inspiration for the initiative:

The film, G-Force, is based around a group of guinea pigs equipped with advanced technology allowing them to talk to humans and go on secret missions. 

While it is unknown whether or not the technology seen in the film currently exists, it is likely that the new project will be extremely effective. Using guinea pigs for secret operations allows for greater stealth and mobility. 

It is expected that upwards of 200 specially trained small mammals will be operating in the field by mid-2019.
