Recently, many major news outlets have reported that President Trump has been using an unsecured iPhone to make calls. This activity poses a significant threat to national security and enables adversaries like Russia and China to listen in on the President’s private communications.
Putin was unconcerned about the allegations of Russian eavesdropping, instead he had a complaint about Trump’s inability to effectively provide useful classified information to the Russians. Putin scolded Trump, reportedly saying that “I elected you as my American puppet governor for a reason. If you continue to speak quietly and mumble during your private conversations, I won’t be able to eavesdrop on crucial conversations which can compromise the United States’ national security.”
Trump was frustrated after the meeting and told the press that he had “failed” his master. This is not the first time that Trump has not delivered for his Russian commander. Just two days ago, Trump’s party lost control of the House which was widely seen as a crucial blow to Putin’s agenda in the United States. Fortunately, Putin and Trump have maintained control of the Senate and are still able to shape the federal judiciary into a formidable pro-Russia force.
The recent results of the midterms and Trump’s inability to obey Putin are worrying signs for the Russians. Despite recent setbacks, Putin is still optimistic on the expansion of Republican power in the Senate. When Speak the Truth asked President Putin about the changes in the United States’ most important legislative house, he simply replied “I am the Senate.”
