Genetic Engineering to Create Humans That Can Reproduce Asexually

Scientist have recently announced that they are going to perform human trials for gene therapy that allows organisms to reproduce asexually.

Scientists at Wayne State College have discovered how to alter cells in the human body to produce asexual reproduction and clone living mammals. Dr. Frank Pepper is the lead scientist for the team.

“Honestly,” Pepper said, “I was sitting in my deer blind and I thought ‘what if there were more deer’ and I thought of ways for more deer for me to hunt and I found out about this ‘asexual reproduction’ that seemed pretty weird, so I got a PhD and started to make more deer.”

Little did he know that his discoveries would lead to reproducing humans.

His partner, Dr. Acula, discovered that the technique could be used on humans, but was disgraced by the science community when he was involved in “fowl” play and tried to steal Pepper’s research.

The first trials began on the cellular level, and then on plants, and recently mice. The mice test subjects were Julius Cheeser and Biggie Cheese. Julius was given the gene therapy and in just a week, reproduced himself into another mice, Biggie Cheese. The whole process took 4 days and occurred in the womb, but due to this, males cannot reproduce without switching sexes.

Human trials are starting next month on homeless volunteers to give them an opportunity at a new life.
